Remember -- your total number of guests
will have a major impact on the money you spend.
Whether you invite 25 people or 250,
expect to review your guest list
several times. Ask your family for help. They'll appreciate
being included and you'll save yourself some valuable time.
• Estimate
your total number of guests
• Get key family members to make lists,
in order of importance, of everyone they'd
like to attend
• Compare the lists and cross off
the duplicates
• Add up what's left and compare that
total to your original estimate
• If there are too many names, figure
out how many have to go
• Instruct each family member who
made a list edit out a certain number of
names (from the bottom up)
